Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using SafeScan QR, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 13 globally, or 16 in the EU without parental consent.
2. Description of Service
SafeScan QR is an informational QR risk analysis tool. Risk verdicts are not guarantees of safety. The SQR airdrop program is discretionary, subject to change, and does not provide financial advice.
3. User Accounts
Google OAuth is used for authentication. You are responsible for account security. One account per person is allowed; multiple accounts for airdrop gaming may lead to disqualification. SafeScan may suspend accounts for abuse, fraud, bot activity, or security risk.
4. Acceptable Use
- No automated bots to inflate scan counts or referrals.
- No intentional stress-testing or abuse of the risk engine.
- No reverse-engineering, scraping, or resale of scan results.
- No laundering, cloaking, or obscuring malicious URLs.
- No impersonating SafeScan in referral campaigns.
5. Airdrop Program Terms
SQR has no guaranteed monetary value. Eligibility is tracked in SafeScan's database and may be checked against on-chain activity. SafeScan may disqualify fraudulent activity and may change timing or allocation at its sole discretion. Token receipt does not constitute investment advice or an offer of securities. The airdrop is unavailable where token distributions are prohibited or restricted, including jurisdictions where compliance cannot be satisfied.
6. Intellectual Property
The SafeScan name, UI, and product assets are proprietary. Users grant SafeScan a limited license to process submitted URLs and QR payloads for service delivery. SafeScan does not claim ownership of user scan data.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided as is, with no uptime guarantee at this stage. SafeScan is not liable for losses caused by acting on or ignoring a risk verdict. Liability is capped at $100 or the amount paid to SafeScan in the last 12 months, whichever is greater.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by Florida law. Disputes are resolved by binding arbitration under AAA rules, with a class action waiver. EU users retain the right to lodge complaints with their local supervisory authority.
9. Changes to Terms
SafeScan will provide 30 days notice before material changes where practical. Continued use means acceptance. Version history will be maintained at /legal/terms-history.
